1. If you could live a day as any type of animal, what would you choose and why?
A dolphin. I love their vibe, and I’m really curious to discover if they are as smart as they seem and what do they think of us.
2. What is the silliest thing you’ve ever done?
That would be a night I spent with Prince. Or rather the moment I woke up from the couch we were sat in and ran away from him terrified not knowing what else to say LOL
3. How did you find out Santa wasn’t real?
I overheard one of my aunts talking to her older daughter (my cousin) about it on a Christmas Eve, telling her not to expect anything special because she was old enough. Then she, maybe as a revenge, told all the cousins that were in the house. I may have been 5 y.o. or so.
4. How many unposted Instagram drafts do you have?
Not many. I usually decide what I want to say that day before posting it, so I work on purpose looking for the image that better matches the message.
5. What movie can you recite every line to?
Not every line, but almost. It’s “Superstar” with Molly Shannon. Love her!
6. What is the last photo on your camera roll?
The one I posted on Twitter and Instagram. Oddly enough, previous to that one it’s the birth certificate of a little sister of my grandma’s a cousin of mine just discovered was born (and sadly passed away soon after) in winter of 1928.
7. Why is sex so important in your work?
Because we the gay bear community have suffered a lot of attacks, first for being gay, then for not being “that” kind of gay, and then each and every time we try to get fancy clothes for ourselves. Our bodies need to be celebrated, and that’s something I had to learn myself. Still to this day I struggle when I get a compliment, I’m a work in progress, but I’m working on it mostly though photography and video, first on my books, later on Patreon and nowadays on Only Fans. And I love that it help others to find joy in themselves. And music is a very sensual way of enjoying your body.
8. What was the highlight of your childhood?
My grandparents and the feeling that everything was possible against all odds, that the future was happening every day.
9. Is Benjamin Koll a bear?
I’m a bear, using the term to define big and burly gay men. Nowadays you can also add me the words Polar (white hair, older), Daddy (don’t quite enjoy the term, maybe because I’m European) and Chubby (because I got huge LOL need to loose some weight _ health reasons, don’t kill me!)
10. What was your favorite children’s book?
Any Jules Verne book, Enid Blyton’s “the famous five” series, and any encyclopedia I could get access to, mostly because history and art. And I also had a world Atlas that ended up in pieces because I was always looking at the maps.
11. What would you want done with your body after you die?
I would like to be buried, never cremated.
12. What’s a favorite memory you have from the past year?
Releasing “Once In A Lifetime” and recording my 54 Birthday Show.
13. If you could redo one moment of your life, what would it be?
I wish I had someone in my life that had given me the talk and courage to be an artist when I started, instead of deciding on my own to hide myself producing others. But in the end everything happens for a reason.
14. What do you think happens when we die?
Either this is all some kind of video game and we just disconnect from it to wake up to another reality, or Horus is waiting for us on the threshold ready to weight our hearts.
15. What are your most bizarre phobias?
Bodily noises. Crowds.
16. If you could only watch one genre of movies the rest of your life, what would it be?
Science Fiction (and James Bond’s).
17. How long does it take you to decide if you like someone or not?
Seconds. I have a sixth sense for that. Not good when you’re young because you come across as too intense, because you give yourself right away, but useful when you get older because it helps you to protect your happy places.
18. If you ran for president, what would be your campaign slogan
4 years to get free energy for everybody (solar in all forms), other 4 to figure out how to live without money as a society. Or just “Naked Fridays!”
19. What is the most important lesson you learned in school?
That it’s all in the books.
20. What’s your worst habit?
Giving unconditional love to anyone that comes into my life.
21. If you could talk to any animal, what would it be?
A whale (or a dolphin… or maybe a turtle)
22. What is a product you cannot live without?
Coffee
23. Where is your favorite place you’ve ever been?
A beach in Alicante, Spain.

The ability to picture a thousand tragic scenarios in every situation.

I need to have the folder with my song projects in the computer away from any folder related to my previous artistic name. I’m afraid it would jinx it.

38. What country would you most like to visit?
Mm tough one. Japan and Chile (Pascua island is a dream for me since I was a child) are first on my list (of the ones I’ve never visited)
39. If you could time travel, would you go to the future or the past?
Not sure, but I guess I may travel into the future.
40. Would you rather vacation somewhere with a beach or mountains?
Beach.
41. Would you rather drink hot coffee or iced?
Both, but if it’s iced I’d drop half a lemon’s juice on it.
42. Would you rather eat sweet foods or salty foods?
Tough, but I’d say sweet.
43. Would you rather have good looks or brains?
Brains! With brains you can make everyone think you’re attractive.
44. Would you rather be a character from Harry Potter or the Marvel Universe?
I guess Harry Potter, although I rather be on any Asimov book.
45. Would you rather go to space or explore the deepest parts of the ocean?
My respects to the ocean, but I would choose space.

Bathroom.

Red

Yes, but not too spicy haha
49. Is Benjamin Koll naked when he records vocals for his songs?
Sometimes, if the song requires it.
50. Would you ever do porn?
I learned in 2021 never to say never. We did some cool work on the “Tell Me Why” and “I Don’t Wanna Fight” music videos. On the directors cuts (available exclusively on Patreon) you can see some very explicit scenes, by that was all movie tricks, so to speak. The result is exciting, but we were playing characters. Now on Only Fans I’m exploring deeper in my own sexuality and discovering and doing things (most of them for the first time) I never thought I would be able to do on camera. I’d say at this moment that I would only go there if it made sense.
