In 2019, Benjamin Koll released this special remix album, which included a selection of unreleased remixes reimagined for the future, as well as the premiere of Higher, his first uplifting collaboration with Perfected.
Remixes from a Future Past features new '80s-infused takes on "Somebody" and "Slave to the Funk," maintaining Benjamin's retro-futuristic appeal. The album also features an alternate version of "This Is What We Do" that has never been heard before, as well as the "Slave to the Funk" arrangement that has been featured in Benjamin's live showcases.
Jose Spinnin Cortes makes an appearance with a new remix of "Living on My Own" and an amazing megamix. In it, he re-edits and remixes a large portion of the Songs for a Better Future album. The result is a 12-minute, high-energy dance extravaganza called "Benjamin Koll's Subwoofer Megamix."
